AIR PERMEABILITY 

Air leakage of all fixed-light type does not exceed 1m3/h per metre length of the visible perimeter of glass. 

FIRE PERFORMANCE
 
Fire tests have shown that uPVC material,being naturally flame resistance throughout their product life,will not cause,support or enhance the development of accidental fires.uPVC attain Class 1 fire resistance(i.e most rsistance) as defined in BS476:Part 7.

HEAT REVERSION 

When tested accordance to DIN EN 479 and BS-7413.RALGZ 716/1 Appendix E.the mean maximum reversion of profile shall not be greater than 2% .Thermostatically controlled electrically heated oven with circulating fan. 

HEAT AGEING 

When tested to DIN EN 478 and BS-7413:1991 Appendix F the profile shows no bubbles,cracks or delaminations

RESISTANCE OF IMPACT AT LOW TEMPERATURE

When tested in accordance with DIN EN 477 and BS-7413:1991 Appendix G,no sample exhibits cracking through the entire profile wall thickness. 

PERFORMANCE 

When tested in accordance with DIN 18055 & BS-6375 PART 1.1989.Test RIG.DIN EN 107.preliminary.Fixed lights air leakage less than 1.0m3/m/hr at an air pressure of 600Pa. Opening lights less than 6.5m3/m/hr at an air pressure of 600 Pa.No damage after a wind gust test at an applied pressure of 2400Pa.Actual performance achieved will depend on frame size and style 

DESIGN 

All main profile are multi-chambered with reinforcement carried in sealed cavities as required.Glazing and casement rebates are drained. 

Glazing gaskets and weather seals are retained in purpose design grooves.Glazing gasket in butt-joint at the heads. 

Glazing beads are either hollow construction with purpose designed groove for glazing gasket,or co-extruded beads with an integral gasket.External beads feature a continuous "snap-in" hook providing a secure externally glazed system.Alternatively,window can be manufactured as an internally glazed system using standard beads.
 
The main U-PVC profiles shall be multi-chambered ,three chamber back to front and a minimum 58mm dip. The center chamber being for reinforcement shall be fully sealed at welded joints.The profile shall have a soft line design with slopping rebats and nicely rubbed edges.The system incorporates frames,mullions,movable mullions,sashes and special profiles for certain window operation.Different profile series for various applications are included in the system.
